Sourcing A VISP Service From Exetel
Exetel is a relatively well known ADSL "brand name" around Australia. Exetel is able to provide ADSL1, ADSL2+, Mobile, PSTN/Telephone, Voice Over IP services to smaller ISPs to re-brand as their own services using their own realm and providing all billing and support and added value services in whatever way they determine best meets their commercial objectives.
Exetel can provide plans tailored to meet the ISPs needs except that Exetel cannot provide any form of "Unlimited" plan nor can it provide a "direct feed" type service. As a valued VISP customer, Exetel can offer you the following to help you get started:
- A base monthly price for each of the ADSL1 and ADSL 2+ supplied via Optus and Telstra infrastructure.
- Mobile services at very competitive rates.
- The ability to offer PSTN and VoIP services to your customer base.
- A low per gigabyte charge for downloads.
- On line ordering and tracking tools.
- On line diagnosis tools for service issue resolution.
- On line "dead service" service issue logging and tracking.
The VISP can set its own end user pricing and activation pricing and 'design' its own plans/included download offerings.
If required Exetel can also offer telephone support, provisioning help and other support services to its VISP clients with the telephone being answered in their name.
Requirements To Acquire VISP Services From Exetel
The requirements to source VISP services from Exetel are:
- An established ISP business with a minimum of 150 ADSL services.
- A solid financial business track record.
- The agreement to pay for services by direct debit one month in advance.
