How a 13/1300/1800 Inbound Service Works
There are two costs to a 13 or 1300 call. The first cost is payed by the caller and this is limited to the cost of a local call, if the 13 or 1300 number is dialled from any landline in Australia. The second cost is paid by the owner (company) of the 13 or 1300 number. Since the owner of the 13 or 1300 service subsidises the costs of the call, this is an incentive for their customers in that their call cost is reduced. For a 1800 inbound service, the originating call cost (the person making the call) is nothing.

The 13/1300/1800 Inbound service is available in any location in Australia for both originating a call to the service and terminating calls on to the service. Exetel can supply call routing specific to your needs, including Australia-wide and state-based.
