Any local landline originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound standard plan is charged at $0.10 per call.
Any local landline originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound 30 and 100 plans is FREE for 15 minutes then charged at $0.06 per minute.
Any local landline originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound 250 plan is FREE for 15 minutes then charged at $0.05 per minute.
Any local landline originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound 500 plan is FREE and you can make unlimited calls.
Any national landline or mobile originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound standard plan is charged at $0.09 per minute.
Any national landline or mobile originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound 30 and 100 plans is charged at $0.08 per minute.
Any national landline or mobile originating call to a landline answer point on the inbound 250 and 500 plans is charged at $0.07 per minute.

Provisioning Timeframes

Provisioning a new Inbound service number usually takes 2-4 business days.

Porting and provisioning of an Inbound service can take 3-7 business days.

Provisioning a Smart Number (see last button) also takes 2-4 business days after obtaining the Smart Number.

Obtaining and Provisioning 13/1300/1800 Smart Numbers

A Smart Number is when a word replaces the numbers for an Inbound service.
The letters correspond to the numbers on a telephone keypad (not a computer keypad) 1300 EXETEL (393835) is an example of a ‘smart’ number.
Obtaining a Smart Number is not handled by Exetel as a service provider.

Companies must bid in an auction process for their own Smart Number if required. This is done via the www.smartnumbers.com.au website. It is an ACMA website.
A company must submit their bid for the Smart Number and the subsequent auction process can take up to 2 weeks. It is an auction process because other company’s may also want that particular Smart Number.
1300 and 1800 numbers may cost typically up to $500 and more for 13 numbers.

Subsequent to the auction, a company can come to Exetel to provision the Smart Number. Exetel will need a copy of the Tax Invoice that proves the company won the auction and also what is called an ROUpin. The ROUpin will be in the confirmation email emitted from Smart Numbers (ACMA).

If a Smart Number is not required or important and a company wants a random ‘new’ inbound service number, Exetel can simply allocate one as part of our provisioning process.
