Do I get a rebate if there is an Outage?

We firmly agree that all our customers should be compensated on any access costs due to a service interruption on the Exetel Network, detailed below:

Can I bring across my Smart Number?

Absolutely, Exetel has many Smart Number services operating on our Network.

To successfully port-in the Smart Number, Exetel will need a copy of the Tax Invoice that proves you are the company that obtained the Smart Number via ACMA auction.

How long will my order take?

Exetel ISDN Services generally take between 30 to 45 business days to complete provisioning.

Are there Early Termination Charges?

Yes. For services on contract lengths of 24 months or more, if service is cancelled within 24 months, the early termination fee is calculated as follows:

– The monthly charge multiplied by months left on contract.

– The connection charge as per 12 month contract payable in addition

What are the billing increments?

National, International and calls to mobile rates are charged per minute and are billed in 1 second increments.

For Example; on a 24 Month contract, if the service is cancelled, the total amount of the early termination fee will be:

ISDN2 on a 24 Month Term: $70.00 per month.

Service cancelled on Month 13 will result in an early termination fee of $770.00 (11 months x $70.00)

What happens if I change my Pre-select options away from Exetel for Long Distance?

The higher Monthly line rental costs will apply.

Service Level Offered

a) Objectives

Exetel will provide designated service up times which are measured on a calendar monthly basis. In the event that Exetel Pty Ltd does not deliver the service covered under the SLA at the level(s) guaranteed then a schedule of rebates of the monthly access fee will apply.

b) Service Availability

Description The availability to receive inbound and conduct outbound calls to the Public Switched Telephone Network
Service Level Exetel will ensure that Service availability is no less than 99.95% per calendar month which allows for 21.6 minutes of service unavailability per month
c) Response Time to Acknowledge Service Fault
Service Fault Logging Response Time
Description The time it takes Exetel to acknowledge a problem exists
Service Level Exetel will ensure that any email or phone call received advising Exetel of a "No Service" problem will be acknowledged and logged within 60 minutes
d) Time to Restore a "Line Down" Service Fault
Service Fault Logging Response Time
Description The time it takes Exetel to re-activate the service
Service Level Exetel will guarantee that it will re-activate a line that has lost service within 4 hours of the problem being logged.

Service Credit Calculation

Service Levels are measured on a calendar monthly basis. The Credit per Outage will be a percentage set out in the table below of the recurring monthly charges that are payable by the customer for the calendar month in which the line outage occurred:

Porting your service to an Exetel VoIP Service will generally take between 10 to 15 business days to complete provisioning.

How long will my Category C: Complex Port take to complete?

Porting your service to an Exetel VoIP Service will generally take between 30 to 45 business days to complete provisioning.

What happens when I use all of my included call value?

Any additional calls are charged at the same call rates and will appear as an additional charge on your Monthly Bill.

Are there Early Termination Charges?

Exetel VoIP Services are not contracted; they are supplied on a month to month basis.
