The public switched telephone network (PSTN) is the network of the world's public circuit-switched telephone networks.
Originally a network of fixed-line analog telephone systems, the PSTN is now almost entirely digital in its core.
Exetel commenced selling Business PSTN services in March 2011.
ISDN is a circuit-switched telephone network system, which also provides access to packet switched networks, designed to allow digital transmission of voice and data over ordinary telephone copper wires.
Prior to ADSL, SHDSL, EoC (Ethernet over Copper), ISDN was the primary way for businesses to be able to transmit data as well as make voice calls.
With the onset of those data markets, ISDN has largely reverted to being a voice only call facility. It is still used widely for this.
Exetel commenced selling ISDN services in February 2012
Exetel has one business telephone call plan that's available to any business in Australia. The details of the plan can be found by clicking here.
