Provision of SMS Via DSL
Exetel provides the ability for any Exetel DSL user to send SMS messages using their DSL service instead of a mobile telephone. To send an SMS message all a user needs to do is to go to their Exetel User Facilities and select the "SMS" button found on the left hand side bar.
The SMS service is sourced from the Vodafone mobile network and can be used to send SMS to any 9 digit mobile number in the world (Some US networks aren't available).

Provision of Voice SMS Via DSL
This feature works the same as above but the SMS sent from the Exetel User Facility is translated to a voice message and sent to a mobile, landline or VoIP number. The recipient can then listen to a voice message. To send a Voice SMS message all a user needs to do is to go to their Exetel User Facilities and select the "Voice SMS" button found on the left hand side bar.
The Voice SMS service is sourced from the Vodafone mobile network.
A Voice SMS can be sent to any 9 digit mobile number in the world (Some US networks aren't available).
It can also be sent to a 10 digit landline number or VoIP number (include area code).
Sending SMS Via DSL Pricing
Exetel provides the ability to send single SMS messages, with no minimum commitment per month, at a cost of 5 cents per message.
For volume commitments pricing can be as low as 3.5 cents per SMS sent; please discuss your requirements with an Exetel corporate communications consultant by calling:

There is a provision to send the same message to multiple mobile numbers at the contracted rate per message.
Sending VOICE SMS Via DSL Pricing
Exetel provides the ability to send a voice SMS, with no minimum commitment per month, at a cost of 18 cents per message.

Receiving SMS or Voice SMS Via DSL Pricing
Exetel can provide a user with a "Virtual Mobile Number" that allows replies to messages sent from the Exetel SMS or Exetel Voice SMS via DSL facility to be received.
The cost of a "Virtual Mobile Number" per number is $15.00 per month.
Paying For SMS or Voice SMS Via DSL
SMS messages or Voice SMS messages are displayed on the user's monthly DSL invoice and paid for by direct debit to the user's nominated credit card or bank account.
