The outage has so far affected around 1,219 nbn services in the impacted geographical regions, across the following technologies: Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)

A third-party managed network infrastructure fault has been identified as the cause of the outage affecting nbn® services. The recovery efforts will be coordinated between nbn® and the third-party network provider.

The root cause is due to site failure.

Severe weather has caused commercial power outages, which has impacted the nbn network in the Lower West, South West, South East Coastal and Central Wheat Belt regions of WA.

The majority of impacted nbn® services are offline due to commercial power outages affecting nbn® network infrastructure.

The outage has so far affected 18936 nbn services in the impacted geographical regions, across the following technology: Fibre to the Building, Fibre to the Node, Fibre to the Curb, Fibre to the Premise, Fixed Wireless, Hybrid Fibre Coaxial.

Assessments and equipment repairs will continue in areas where safe access is available. nbn is prioritising generator deployments to parts of the nbn® network impacted by extended power outages and will dispatch technicians once it is safe to proceed.
