OUTAGES

For our customers, the best way to receive up to date notifications on any non-major planned or unplanned outages is via our Exetel mobile app. We will also notify you by SMS and/or email for unplanned outages.

Our supplier nbn is currently experiencing a Significant local outage.

A network fault is currently affecting nbn® services in the Northern Rivers District, NSW. A hardware fault has been identified as the cause of the outage.

The outage has so far affected 1057 Fixed Wireless nbn® services in the impacted geographical regions.

Locations Impacted

Regional NSW: Ashby, Ashby Heights, Ashby Island, Chatsworth, Goodwood Island, Gulmarrad, Harwood, Ilarwill, James Creek, Lawrence, Maclean, Micalo Island, Mororo, Palmers Channel, Palmers Island, South Arm, Taloumbi, The Freshwater, Townsend, Tullymorgan, Tyndale, Warregah Island, Woodford Island, Woombah and Yamba.

Technicians are now on-site and are working to restore the affected nbn® services as a priority.

Due to restoration activity extending, an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) is not available at this time.

The next update will be provided at around 17:30 AEST on 21/04/2026 if there is no material change. If we become aware of a material change, we will provide an update as soon as practicable.


Our 4G supplier, Telstra, is currently experiencing a significant local outage affecting services in Granville Harbour, Macquarie Heads, Southwest, Strahan, Trial Harbour, and West Coast in TAS 7140, 7321, 7468, and 7469.

The root cause is a site failure. Supplier technicians are currently working to restore the impacted services.

Approximately 1,084 services may be affected. The estimated restoration time is 17 Apr 2026 at 10:00 AEST.

We will provide regular updates as more information becomes available.

The next update will be provided on 18 Apr 2026 at 17:02 AEST.


Our supplier Optus is currently experiencing an outage affecting services for customers in Regional Outage in Thredbo Village (2625) area New South Wales, NSW. The outage has impacted over 1000+ services in the affected regions.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will continue to keep you informed.

The estimated time of restoration is yet to be determined.

Next update will be provided around 05/04/2026 17:50:28 AEST.


Our 4G supplier, Telstra, is currently experiencing a significant local outage affecting services in DUNDOWRAN, DUNDOWRAN BEACH, ELI WATERS, KAWUNGAN, NIKENBAH, PIALBA, POINT VERNON, TAKURA, URRAWEEN, WALLIGAN QLD, 4655.

The root cause is due to site failure.

Approximately 1064 services may be impacted. An estimated restoration time is not available.

We will provide regular updates as more information becomes available.

The next update will be provided on 23 Feb 2026 23:39 AEDT.
