How fibre upgrade works
Order The One plan and begin your journey to high-speed nbn® Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).
Download the Exetel app to track the progress of your service activation.
We’ll arrange your FTTP upgrade, and an appointment with an nbn technician for a smooth, low-impact setup.
Appointments are typically scheduled within 7–14 days of ordering. You'll receive your appointment date along with reminders, and you can reschedule anytime through the app.
The nbn technician will inspect your property's exterior to assess any need for additional infrastructure. If extra costs apply, you’ll be notified and responsible for payment to proceed.
Once setup is complete, we’ll notify you as soon as your fibre service is active and ready to go.
You’ll be charged only once your FTTP service is active. If you are switching providers, remember to cancel your old service. Existing Exetel customers will receive a refund for any unused plan portion, and your billing anniversary will reset upon service activation.
