OUTAGES

Our supplier nbn is currently experiencing a Significant local outage.

Severe weather across North West Queensland (QLD) is impacting the commercial power supply, resulting in disruptions on the nbn® network. These conditions are likely to delay network and service restoration activities. The recovery efforts will be coordinated by nbn with guidance from the commercial power providers. Technicians will be dispatched to sites only when it is safe to do so.

The majority of nbn services impacted are due to commercial power outages affecting nbn® network infrastructure.

The outage has so far affected 1369 Fibre to the Node (FTTN) nbn services in the impacted geographical regions. 1081 nbn services have been restored.

As at 08:00 AEDT on 30/12/2025, 288 end users are unable to access the nbn network.

Restoration of nbn services continues to depend on the return of commercial power supply; nbn is closely monitoring power restoration and will dispatch technicians when nbn services do not self-rectify following the restoration of commercial power.

An estimated time of restoration is not yet available.

The next update will be provided at around 15:00 AEDT on 30/12/2025 if there is no material change. If we become aware of a material change, we will provide an update as soon as practicable.

Our 4G supplier, Telstra is currently experiencing a significant local outage affecting services in ARMSTRONG, BELLELLEN, BLACK RANGE, BULGANA, CALLAWADDA, CAMPBELLS BRIDGE, CONCONGELLA, DEEP LEAD, FYANS CREEK, GERMANIA, GLENORCHY, GREAT WESTERN, GREENS CREEK, HALLS GAP, ILLAWARRA, JOEL SOUTH, LAKE FYANS, LAKE LONSDALE, LEDCOURT, MOKEPILLY, MORRL MORRL, MOUNT DRYDEN, NORVAL, POMONAL, RIACHELLA, STAWELL, WAL WAL, 3374, 3377, 3380, 3381, 3384, 3385, 3387, VIC.

The estimated time of restoration is 29 Dec 2025 10:00 AEDT.

Our 4G supplier, Telstra, is currently experiencing a significant local outage affecting services in BELLELLEN, BLACK RANGE, CALLAWADDA, CAMPBELLS BRIDGE, CONCONGELLA, DEEP LEAD, FYANS CREEK, GERMANIA, GLENORCHY, GREENS CREEK, HALLS GAP, ILLAWARRA, LAKE FYANS, LAKE LONSDALE, LEDCOURT, MOKEPILLY, MORRL MORRL, MOUNT DRYDEN, POMONAL, RIACHELLA, STAWELL, WAL WAL in VIC 3380, 3381, 3384, 3385, 3387.

The root cause is due to site failure.

Approximately 2791 services may be impacted. An estimated restoration time is not yet available.
