Our supplier nbn is currently experiencing a Significant local outage.

A hardware fault is affecting nbn services in the South East Coast, Queensland area. Our teams are investigating the fault and working to restore nbn services.

A hardware fault has been identified as the likely cause of the outage.

As at 16:15 AEDT, 2,879 users are currently unable to access the nbn® network, across the following technologies Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), Fibre to the Node (FTTN) and Enterprise Ethernet (EE).

Locations Impacted

Regional Queensland – Brightview, Glenore Grove, Hatton Vale, Kensington Grove, Lockrose, Plainland, Regency Downs and Summerholm.

Technicians have been assigned to return to the site to continue by approximately 10:00 AEDT on 22/01/2026.

nbn services are expected to be restored around 17:00 AEDT on 22/01/2026.

The next update will be provided at around 21:45 AEDT on 22/01/2026 if there is no material change. If we become aware of a material change, we will provide an update as soon as practicable.
