For our customers, the best way to receive up to date notifications on any non-major planned or unplanned outages is via our Exetel mobile app. We will also notify you by SMS and/or email for unplanned outages.
Telstra identified an issue impacting some calls including Triple Zero.
In these cases, when you call Triple Zero you will receive an error message and your phone will try to connect to an alternative mobile network.
If you experience any issues calling Triple Zero, we recommend you:
1. Wait for your phone to connect to an alternative network if one is available - this can take up to 90 seconds
2. Use a different phone to make the call
Telstra is working urgently to resolve this issue.
Our Supplier, Telstra has identified an issue impacting some mobile calls, data services, intermittent SMS/MMS delivery and provisioning activities nationally. Some customers may experience intermittent connectivity, with retries potentially succeeding. Investigation and restoration efforts are ongoing.

Our mobile supplier, Telstra is currently experiencing a significant local outage affecting services in BARNEY POINT, BOYNE ISLAND, CALLEMONDAH, CLINTON, CORAL SEA, GLADSTONE HARBOUR, GLEN EDEN, KIN KORA, NEW AUCKLAND, OCONNELL, SOUTH GLADSTONE, SOUTH TREES, SUN VALLEY, TANNUM SANDS, TELINA, TOOLOOA, WEST GLADSTONE QLD, 4680, 4800.
4G service outage due to site failure There is a loss of mobile coverage and overlapping coverage from other carriers may not be available.
Approximately 4069 services may be impacted.
